As the saying goes, "All work but no play makes Jack a dull boy." In every volume, Coffee Talk with ESCO chats up our team mates to find out more about their passion off work. We are excited to have Ruri Aprilia, Logistics of ESCO Indonesia to share with us about her love for Indonesia.

Personally, living in Jakarta meant having the opportunity to develop and better myself. I could expand my professional and access various resources easily.
Being the largest metropolitan in Southeast Asia and second largest in the world, Jakarta also has nicknames like ‘J-Town’, or ‘The Big Durian’ as it is considered comparable to New York City (Big Apple). Many Indonesians move from various parts of the country to Jakarta, creating a unique multi-cultural society of different tribes and religions.
Last weekend, I spent some quality time with my family at Bandung – a world renowned tourist destination in Indonesia. Easily accessible from Jakarta, Bandung is continuously innovating to bring non-mainstream tourist attractions to visitors. Besides the fresh air, the lush trees in the area is also one of its own natural attractions.
One of the attraction I went to is Dusun Bambu - The Ecotourism area at the foot of Burangrang Mountain with a paradise-like landscape. There are lakes surrounded by tall trees, ducks in the river and children running around. I could enjoy various eco-tourism facilities that emphasises on nature conservation while learning how to appreciate nature in a way that we cannot experience in Jakarta.
See those nests shaped area? It was named after Lutung Kasarung. One of the spots in Dusun Bambu you can visit.
Dusun Bambu has been transformed into a multipurpose resort close to nature, there are villas, restaurants, cafes, shopping centres, and various ourdoor activities. Children's can play in the Bamboo Play Ground, learn tamali ropes, learn more about with agricultural cultivation, and play with traditional Indonesian toys
